I learned that carbohydrates are a source of quick energy. Many labs helped me learn what a carbohydrates was and the function. The I learned that the building block of a carb is a monosaccharide. What surprised me was that some of the foods that have so many carbs in them that I eat. I knew that a carb was a source of quick energy. I liked this objective because it was very eye-catching and kept me interested and wanting to learn more about it. The information I learned can be used outside of biology by knowing the foods that are carbs and knowing what you need to eat if you need some quick energy.

  1. I like that you included a picture of common types of carbs. A lot of people hear about carbohydrates and don't really know what they are. One more thing you could've done is add more to your overview of what they are.

  2. Your information is very clear to understand. Before learning about carbs, the only carb I knew was sugar. I feel like you could have added a little more information.
