Photosynthesis - Ben Belcher

Ben Belcher

Topic:
Photosynthesis

Photosynthesis is the process by which Plant cells produce energy in the form of glucose. However, photosynthesis also produces Oxygen, which all animal cells need in order to survive. In return, animal cells use cellular respiration to provide the carbon dioxide in order for photosynthesis to occur. Photosynthesis is most active during the summer, and least active during the winter. The process occurs in the Chloroplasts, which is an organelle specific to plant cells.

Reflection:
When people think about photosynthesis they think about how plants get energy and how we get oxygen, but it's usually not as often talked about how we are important to causing photosynthesis to continue to occur.

  1. Your information is very useful and understandable. A lot of people don't know the scientific formula for photosynthesis is. Your reflection should be more than one sentence.
