Ribosomes

Ribosomes make protein for the cell

No cell can live with out ribosomes

Found is all cells

Ribosomes is one of the building blocks to a cell. Ribosomes main function is to make protein. Life could not exist without proteins; they are the building blocks of life. All known life requires proteins to exist, even the simplest virus. Ribosomes are found in Prokaryotic Cells, Eukaryotic Cells, Plant Cells, Animal Cells, and Bacteria Cells. Ribosomes can join up amino acids at a rate of 200 per minute. The word ribosome is made from taking ‘ribo’ from ribonucleic acid and adding it to ‘soma’, the latin word for body. We can call the ribosomes the construction men of the cell because they connect the amino acid and build long chains of proteins
