Eukaryotic vs Prokaryotic

Eukaryotic:
Nucleus
membrane organelle
chromosome pairs
cell division with mitosis
larger ribosomes
cellulose in cell wall

Prokaryotic:
no nucleus
no membranes
single chromosome
cell division without mitosis
simple flagella
smaller ribosomes
no cellulose in cell wall

Mitosis-is a process where a single cell divides into two identical daughter cells
Interphase-The DNA in the cell is copied for in preparation for cell division
Prophase-The chromosomes turn into x shaped structures
Metaphase-the chromosomes line up in a straight line
Anaphase-the sister chromatids are pulled apart towards different poles
Telophase-each pole has a full set of chromosomes

RNA- ribonucleic acid, a nucleic acid present in all living cells
A=T
C=G
Adenine
cytosine
guanine
uracil
