Plasma Membrane
The Plasma Membrane (also known as the Cell Membrane) is the outer layer of Animal Cells, and the layer beneath the Cell Wall in Plant Cells.
The Plasma Membrane controls what enters and exits the cell, it can do this because it is semi-permeable, meaning certain things can pass through it.
A way that this applies outside of Biology is that you shouldn't store certain things in certain containers, because some material are semipermeable and can leak the contents inside.
one day they might be able to make one that is stronger and harder to get through with all the bad stuff so nothing gets in
