Characteristics of Life
The characteristics of life determine if something is living or non living.
To be considered living, you have to:
1) have cells
2) be able to reproduce
3) have a metabolism
4) maintain homeostasis
5) be able to pass genetics to another generation
6) be able to respond to stimuli
7) be able to grow and develop
8) be able to adapt through evolution
Humans are definitely living because we have all of these characteristics.
Animals and sea life are living because they have most if not all of these characteristics.
Plants are living because the grow, eat, move, and reproduce.

I like how neat your blog is. I don't see a reflection so I think you should include one.
ReplyDeleteI like how you more than one picture, it makes me want to read it. Characteristics of life is important, it has to do with life or death and anything to do with that is important. One thing that could've been done better is a reflection, you're missing one.
ReplyDeletei like that you went in depth and it helped me understand it more and let me see what was going on good job
ReplyDeleteI like how you put the information in bullet points, it's a lot more easier to understand that way. The pictures were helpful for me to further grasp the concept. I didn't see a reflection, but overall good job! -Marco Lagos
